Jacque Cartier was born in 1943 Pensocola, Florida. His interest of the outdoors developed early in life. After attending UC Berkeley he met and married Beverly Crawford and has 3 beautiful children.
After working 40 years in construction, owning a tropical fish wholesaler, and joining the Sprinkler Fitters Union Local 483 — his passion for art persisted.
Upon my retirement he continued his education at University of Arkansas and was able to focus his energy into ceramics.
His deep seated apprication for the outdoors fueled his passion for not just creating ceramic art but in the various glazing aspects and coloration
Over the years he's been honing his style and landed on what he deemed the most creative and interpretative styles allowing him to utilize his imagination.
But in addition being able to express himself through his unique style, he is also able to express his creativity through glazing pieces that are uniquely JMC.
